Areas of Study

Our non-graded Welding Program equips you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the field. You'll gain:

  • Essential safety training to work confidently and responsibly
  • Stick welding (SMAW) fundamentals
  • MIG welding (GMAW) techniques
  • Oxy-fuel welding and cutting skills

Whether you're starting fresh or looking to upgrade your skills, our program prepares you for a rewarding, high-demand career. Additionally, participants will be eligible for free membership of the Canadian Welding Association (CWA).

  • October 6 to November 10, 2025
  • In-Person Delivery
  • 6 - 9 p.m. Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Non-Graded

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of age.
  • No previous welding experience required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required

  • CSA approved boots.
  • Helmets, if already owned.
  • Additionally, if participants do not already have the required equipment, Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ will be able to provide the following welding gear during the training: gloves, safety glasses, jackets, and helmets.

Payment of course fees will be due by Friday, Sept 26, 2025.

Withdrawal/Refunds: Requests for withdrawal from Continuing Education courses must be made within 20% of course duration. Refunds may take 4-6 weeks to process. An administrative fee may apply.
